Peru is a country world famous for Machu Piccu the ancient ruins and heart of the Incan Civilization. But did you know that Peru also has a large dense Amazon jungle that much of it can only be viewed by boat. Pucallpa a major port town is where you will board your boat and begin your journey into the Amazons of Peru. Enjoy the incredible sights and sounds of the river from the Evangelista your sailing vessel. Eat and sleep onboard the ship and during the day sail the river to a remote village where your talents and experience will be put to work. You will serve in one of the remotest areas of Peru, deep in the Amazon jungle.

Trip Itinerary Day 1 Arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel Day 2 Board your morning flight for Pucallpa Transfer to your hotel and enjoy your free day Day 3 Sailing the Amazon River Transfer to your riverboat and set sail Day 4-7 Service days in the villages along the Ucayali River with the Shipibo people Day 8 Arrive in Pucallpa in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel Enjoy your farewell dinner with our ministry partners this evening ) Day 9 Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima Please do not schedule your return home flight any earlier than 7 p.m

Optional Pre-Trip: Machu Picchu 4 Days Arrive in Lima and transfer from the airport to your hotel. Wake early for your morning fl ight to Cuzco. Enjoy a full-day excursion to Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. After your buffet lunch at the Tunupa Restaurant, take a ride to Ollantaytambo, before returning to Cuzco. Board the Vistadome Train to Aguas Calientes early in the morning. Upon arrival you will be guided through one of the most spectacular ancient cities in the entire world. After the tour, you will have free time to choose your activities. Return to Cuzco in the late afternoon.
