For guests who have already experienced the French Riviera, take this opportunity to visit the areas of Nice and Monaco independently. You will drive along the Corniche Roads and witness medieval villages perched atop craggy cliffs, millionaire yachts in tiny marinas, and where the bronze and the beautiful soak in the golden sun. In Nice, the Capital of the French Riviera, you will have time to visit the Old City, enjoy the Flower Market, or stroll along the Promenade des Anglais. Both tourists and locals alike come to relax along this beautiful Mediterranean Promenade.
Via the lower Corniche Road, you will arrive in Monaco, the second smallest city-state in the world. The historical part of Monaco sits on a hill called "The Rock" where the old town and the Neo Romanesque Cathedral are located. You will have time to explore the principality, which includes the Old Quarter filled with small cobblestone streets and souvenir shops. While in Monaco you may choose to visit Palace Square or the Prince's Palace, both constructed in the early 17th century.
Note: This tour involves approximately 5 hours (2 hours in Nice and 3 hours in Monaco) on your own. An escort will be on the coach to/from Nice and Monaco. This tour does not include lunch or entrance fees. This tour does not include the transfer to/from Monte Carlo and the Grand Casino. Guests wishing to visit these venues must make their own travel arrangements once in Monaco. Entrance to Grand Casino, which only opens in the afternoon, is not included in this tour.
