Travel from Naples via the motorway and the Campanian coastal route to Sorrento. Enjoy the panoramic scenery of the Bay of Naples as you make your way towards the Sorrentine Peninsula. Once in Sorrento, you will have approximately 1.5 hours on your own to explore, shop and eat in Sorrento's charming flowered-filled streets that offer a wide array of boutiques, souvenir shops, and atmospheric outdoor cafes. Please note that lunch is not included in the tour.
Rejoin your coach and drive to a local lido on the beach. Your guide will designate a meeting time and place and then you will be on your own for approximately 3 hours. You can use the changing rooms and will have the opportunity to relax on the beach, taste the cuisine of the local restaurant or have a cappuccino on the panoramic terrace. A complimentary sun-bed and beach umbrella will be provided for you. After a relaxing day, re-board the coach for the return trip to the ship in Naples.
Note: The amount of walking is at guests' discretion. Guests must negotiate 2 - 4 steps to enter/exit the coach and several steps at Sorrento's Lido. This tour does not include lunch or entrance fees. An escort will be on the coach to/from Naples to answer questions. Items such as hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, swimwear and towel should be brought with you from the ship. If guests should miss the return bus, transportation back to the vessel is their own responsibility and at their own expense. Time permitting; guests will have approximately 1.5 hours for lunch, shopping and browsing in Sorrento. Tour sequence may be altered to avoid congestion but always covering the mentioned sites. This tour will only operate from June 4, 2007 through September 19, 2007. Due to the high peak season, this tour will not operate during the Legend of the Seas' visit on August 12, 2007. |
